Clarence E. Frazier, age 84, of Oak Grove was born May 20, 1931 and got his wings to fly away from his earthly home to be with his Lord on June 4, 2015. He had suffered several months with his battle with lung cancer and congestive heart failure and now his battle is won. He was saved as a young boy and attended Old Deroche Baptist Church in Bismarck, AR. He loved to play pool, shuffleboard, fishing, camping, and spending time with his family. He was a long standing member of the Malvern Moose Lodge.
Clarence is preceded in death by his parents, John L. Frazier and Effie Mae (Burks) Frazier; several siblings, Dovia, Earl, and Bill Frazier who died early in life; his brother, J.T. Frazier; sister, Anna Mae Irwin; first wife, Effie (Bee) Frazier; step-son, Mark Anderson; and a great- grandson, Keith Green.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 22 years, Margaret (Weems) Frazier of Oak Grove; son, Roger Frazier (Betty) of Midway; two daughters, Patricia (Frazier) Breshears of Oak Grove, and Brenda (Frazier) Driskill (John) of Hot Springs, AR; one brother, Delmer Frazier of Oak Grove; two sisters, Della Willbanks of Ontario, CA, and Zelma Brown of Malvern; brother and sister-in law, June and Jerry Withers of Jackson, MS; sister-in-law, Elaine Franks of Bismarck, AR; 7 grandkids; 13 great-grandkids; and 1 great-great-granddaughter. He also leaves behind several special nieces and nephews whom he loved very much, as well as a lot of special childhood friends and other friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 5, 2015 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Atkinson Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Atkinson Chapel with Bro. Jerry George of Donaldson officiating. His son, Roger Frazier will sing for his Pop one last time. Burial will follow at Old Deroche Cemetery in Bismarck, AR.
Pallbearers will be his son, Roger Frazier; grandsons, Jason Frazier, John Driskill III, and Brent Driskill; great-grandson, Christopher Norwood; son-in-law, John Driskill; and two nephews, Michael and Nick Frazier. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Ray Bollen, Dr. Tim Webb, Johnny Montgomery, and Delmer Frazier.
Many thanks to his doctor, Dr. Ray Bollen, and special thanks to Dr. Tim Webb (cancer doctor) for having such patience with us. We appreciate both of you.
Family will be at residence in Oak Grove.
